CA488系列汽油机冷却系为强制循环液冷封闭式,采用管带式散热器、扭矩型硅油风扇离合器、后弯冲压式叶轮水泵与蜡式节温器;设有进气管预热腔,当节温器温度低于83℃时,冷却液流经预热腔升温,使发动机保持在85~98℃温度下工作冷却系设膨胀水箱,能接受散热器中受热膨胀而需放出的冷却液和空气,或提供受冷收缩而需补充的冷却液,使散热器始终充满冷却液.冷却系装机试验表明,冷却、水阻与热量分配等各项特性均达到汽油车的设计指标;部件台架试验表明,各部件经历500小时可靠性试验,均未出现任何损坏,达到设计使用要求.
