减字谱是中国传统乐器古琴的专用记谱法,自唐代以前的文字谱发展而来,流传于日本的《碣石调·幽兰》是唯一流传在世的文字谱。赵耶利及曹柔在减字谱的创造上起到举足轻重的位置,曹柔严格区分右手的八种指法,将每个指法简化后融古琴的“徽位、弦法、指法”为一体,定型了减字谱的主要特征。减字谱的形态特征区分于五线谱中的固定音高、节奏标识,解读减字谱乐理从节奏、音程、调式开始。(1)下面比者将作一简要介绍:
