2004年12月21日,一个噩耗在中国铁路系统内传递——庄心丹病逝,享年90岁。庄心丹是上海奉贤庄行镇人。这位老人是青藏铁路第一任总体设计师。他毕业于杭州之江大学土木工程系,把自己的一生献给了新中国的铁路事业。退休后,他在兰州市花园路一间三十几平方米的小房子里,度过了近30年的最后岁月。由于年代久远,他和中国第一代青藏铁路勘测人的故事,几近湮灭,直到青藏铁路通车前后.才被重新提起。40年前,正是这位上海人,第一次勾画
December 21, 2004, a bad news passed in the Chinese railway system - Zhuang Xuan Dan died, at the age of 90. Zhuang Xindan is Shanghai Fengxian Zhuangxing people. The old man is the first chief architect of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. He graduated from Hangzhou Zhijiang University Department of Civil Engineering, dedicated his life to the new China railway career. After his retirement, he spent the last 30 years in a small house of 30 square meters in Garden Road, Lanzhou City. As a result of his age, he and the story of China’s first generation of Qinghai-Tibet Railway surveyors nearly annihilated until they were reopened only after the opening of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. 40 years ago, it was the Shanghai native who outlined the first time
