在我国,大部分军校学员对于英语学习的需求仅停留在全国四、六级英语考试,缺乏基本的英语沟通能力,而传统的大学英语教学模式不能全方位培养学员的英语综合能力和职业素养。以内容为依托的外语教学(CBI)将语言与主题信息有机结合,这种模式具有很强的灵活性,是语言教学上的一个新起点。本文通过分析CBI教学模式,探讨了该模式在军校大学英语教学中的应用及需要注意的问题,为军校大学英语教学改革提供了新的思路。
In China, most military school students’ requirements for English learning only stay in the national 4th and 6th English exams, and they lack basic English communication skills. However, traditional college English teaching models cannot fully train students’ comprehensive English abilities and professional qualities. The content-based foreign language teaching (CBI) combines language and subject information organically. This model has strong flexibility and is a new starting point in language teaching. This paper analyzes the CBI teaching model, discusses the application of this model in English teaching in military colleges and the problems that need attention, and provides new ideas for the reform of English teaching in military colleges.
