On October 26 local time, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the federal government budget resolution for the fiscal year 2018 approved by the Senate last week, which will lay the foundation for the Trump administration’s tax reform legislation. On the same day, the House of Representatives passed the budget resolution with 216 votes in favor and 212 votes against it. The resolution will allow the U.S. deficit to increase by 1.5 trillion U.S. dollars in the next ten years in support of the Trump administration’s tax relief plan. The White House issued a statement that night, welcoming the Senate’s passage of the budget resolution, saying it paved the way for the U.S. tax reform to stimulate economic growth and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.
