The first part of this article discusses advanced FPA device technology developed with the support of industrial enterprises and government. As it turns out, the advanced infrared detector focal plane processes and digital / imaging processes are being combined to provide future two-dimensional gaze sensors or mosaic thermal imaging sensors with vastly improved capabilities. These new sensors have the potential to meet the current requirements of all thermal imaging applications. In addition, these sensors have also opened up some new applications, so that the total market for embedded sensors will increase, and the market for military use alone will require 100,000 units.
