Newly taught middle school students have mastered the content of Newton’s first law, and have consolidated this law in subsequent learning. During the review class, I designed a set of exercises to let students understand that physical predecessors not only left valuable conclusions for future generations, but more importantly left a strange way of thinking—extreme methods. In the process of solving problems, students achieve the goal of mastering knowledge, imparting methods, and cultivating competence.
