流化催化裂化装置,是炼油厂中消耗能量较大的工艺装置之一。但是,在装置的运转过程中,再生器的热烟道气中蕴藏着很大的能量,如果这部分能量得到充分利用的话,不仅能满足本装置主风机动力的需要,还能发电和发生蒸汽供装置使用。 1963年世界上第一套工业化催化裂化能量回收装置在加拿大奥克维尔炼油厂投入使用,到78年底世界上已投产和正在建设中的能量回收装置有23套。最大一套的回收功率达26000千瓦(见表1)。
