纵观全球经济发展史,当生产力发展的推动力消耗殆尽,世界经济就会进入调整阶段,而调整时期往往孕育着新的科技革命曙光。随着科技上的重大突破和创新,新的增长引擎使经济重新恢复平衡并提升到更高水平。2008年爆发的金融危机终结了全球经济稳步增长的趋势,而以新材料、新能源、新技术为主要特征的新的科技革命风起云涌。这场“科技风暴”究竟何时才能带领世界走出金融危机的阴影或许尚需时日。但有一点是明确的:全球经济重回繁荣之路必将依赖新一轮科技革命的推动,而且谁首先掌握最新科技,谁就将主导经济发展的方向。
Looking at the history of global economic development, as the impetus of the development of the productive forces has been depleted, the world economy will enter a phase of adjustment and the adjustment period will often bring about a new dawn of science and technology revolution. With major technological breakthroughs and innovations, the new growth engine has brought the economy back to balance and to a higher level. The financial crisis that broke out in 2008 has brought an end to the trend of steady growth of the global economy. However, the new scientific and technological revolution characterized by new materials, new energy sources and new technologies is surging. It may take some time before this “technological storm” can lead the world out of the shadow of the financial crisis. However, one thing is clear: the path to a prosperous global economy will certainly depend on the impending revolution in science and technology, and who will take the lead in economic development when it first masters the latest science and technology.
