Compared with the simulation method, using a microcomputer control, small size, economic, high efficiency. This article shows how to use microcomputers to control small motors. It includes the operation of a microcomputer (6502 Microprocessor based KIM board), algorithms for controlling the motor, hardware interfaces and interconnects, program flow charts, and actual measured characteristics.
