本品为棕榈科植物槟榔的成熟种子,具有杀虫消积、下气行水的作用,为重要的驱虫药之一。关于槟榔的炮制方法,在《河南省中药材炮制规范》有“生用、炒黄、炒焦、炒炭。”但临床入药多以生用。生用时炮制方法是先拣去杂质,将其用清水洗净、泡透(春冬约泡20天,夏秋约泡12天),捞出切片0.15~0.5毫米厚,晾干。或取拣净的槟榔打成豆大小块。但在实际应用中,大多是切片入药。
This product is a mature seed of the betel nut belonging to the palm plant. It has the functions of killing insects, accumulating product, and reducing air and water, and is one of the important anthelmintic drugs. Regarding the processing method of betel nut, in the “Guangxi Province’s specifications for concocting Chinese herbal medicines,” there are “raw, fried yellow, fried coke, fried charcoal.” But the clinical use of medicine is mostly used. The raw method is to pick out the impurities first, wash them with water, soak them thoroughly (soak in spring and winter about 20 days, and about 12 days in summer and autumn), remove and slice 0.15 to 0.5 mm thick, and let them dry. Or pick the betel nut and make it into big chunks of beans. However, in practical applications, most of them are sliced into medicine.
