生产过程中为了保证产品质量和生产率,采用了工装夹具,它的主要功能包括以下几个方面:(1)保证和提高产品质量(制件可以更好的进入准确位置)。(2)提高劳动效率(减少人工摆好工件的时间)。(3)扩大工具的操作范围(位置固定了,人员易于操作)(4)改善劳动条件,降低产品成本。工件在夹具中的定位实际上是以工件上的某些基准面与夹具上定位元件保持接触的,从而限制工件的自由度。选择工件上,哪些面与夹具的定位元件相接触,这就是定位基准的选择问题。定位基准分粗基准和精基准,起始工序中,选择未经加工过的毛坯表面作为定位基准,则这个毛坯面称为粗基准;之后,用加工过的表面进行定位,这个加工过的表面称为精基准。因此机械加工中工装夹具的定位设计就是怎样正确选择定位基准的问题。
