目的通过对吉首大学医学生体质指数(BMI)分析,了解大学生的营养现状。方法采用随机抽样法抽取725名在校大学生,测量身高、体质量,用BMI进行营养状况分析。结果78.34%的学生BMI分布于正常范围,16.83%学生体质量过低,4.83%学生体质量超标、肥胖。男生BMI较女生高,体质量过低率女生高于男生,而超重和肥胖率男生高于女生;城乡之间学生的BMI分布基本一致。结论吉首大学医学生营养存在一定比例的体质量过低和体质量超标肥胖,并有性别差异。高校应强化营养知识教育,提高大学生营养健康水平。
Objective To understand the nutritional status of college students by analyzing the medical students’ body mass index (BMI) of Jishou University. Methods A total of 725 undergraduates were sampled by random sampling method to measure the height and body mass and to analyze the nutritional status with BMI. Results 78.34% of students had normal BMI, 16.83% of students had low body mass, 4.83% of students had overweight and obesity. The male students had higher BMI than female students, lower body weight girls than boys, and overweight and obesity boys than girls. The distribution of BMI among urban and rural students was basically the same. Conclusion There is a certain proportion of medical students in Jishou University nutrition body weight is too low and excessive body weight obesity, and gender differences. Colleges and universities should strengthen the nutrition knowledge education, improve the nutritional level of college students.
