1980年5月,广东省公安厅在花县(今花都)百步梯组建广东省边防民警支队(即广东边防七支队的前身),担负‘二线’即深圳特区与非特区之间管理线反偷渡、外逃堵截的任务。这是‘文革’后我国恢复组建的第一支人民武装警察部队。
In May 1980, the Public Security Bureau of Guangdong Province organized a frontier defense police detachment in Guangdong Province (the predecessor of the Guangdong Border Defense Detachment 7) in Huaxian (now Huadu) Hundred Steps to take charge of the second-tier management line between Shenzhen Special Administrative Region and non-special economic zones Anti-smuggling, flight interdiction mission. This is the first People’s Armed Police Force set up in our country after the Cultural Revolution.
