The stratification of mass media formed by modern society must make the development and operation of media itself closely linked with the environment in which it lives, while the role of having the same environmental dimension has also led to the formation of many similarities in the performance of many media. In order to prove the existence of this similarity from the perspective of media geography, this paper compares the media audiences’consumers’ access to and use of the media in both Linxia and Ningxia counties in Gansu Province, and surveys the government’s satisfaction with various social issues and finds that The same is the Hui neighborhood; with the two counties in the backward and underdeveloped areas of northwestern China, the effect of the mass media in these two places and the related guiding role of formation are almost homogeneous. This also proves that the shaping of the geographical environment has affected the media, and the transmission of media in similar geographical environments has roughly the same effect. Long-term “malnutrition ” media contact and its interpretation of information in the northwest ethnic minority areas reflect the current imbalance in the development of western media. From the perspective of media geography, we explore all kinds of communication phenomena and problems in real life and put forward specific feasibility proposals to solve the problem so as to improve the dissemination effect of media in different geographical environments and promote the modern society to build up the relationship between people, media and geography The harmonious relationship is the significance of this study.
