1995年12月29日,广西自治区会议电视网开通,并于同日举行了广西自治区数字移动电话网、高速数字数据网和会议电视网开通典礼.广西自治区主席成克杰、广西自治区邮电管理局局长欧长贤、许振环及党政各届人员参加了开通典礼.这三个网的组网设计和设备选型都充分考虑到了与国家骨干网及各省网的互联、互控问题,保证了网络的统一性、完整性和先进性.
