A large number of VXI instruments are coming to the market - these instruments work faster, more accurately and more deftly, and they have more features than their predecessors. For the first time, it is possible to configure the VXI test system as a system that can be exactly equivalent in performance to a GBIB instrument system. Even it can do more difficult automated testing tasks. All of these capabilities place some new demands on the VXI mainframe. In particular, the higher working speed of the instrument means that its power consumption is greater. The main frame designed a few years ago is no longer able to meet the power requirements of a full range of high-performance instruments. The more serious problem is the old main frame - the grille - may not be able to guarantee that expensive instruments will not be damaged by overheating. Damage to the instrument can result in significant damage: not only will it cost money to repair or replace it, but it will also reduce output due to downtime.
