The “High-strength cement adhesive for porcelain-ceramic bonding” developed by the joint professors Xie Jianguo and Qian Duofen of Hunan University and Pingxiang Electric Porcelain Factory passed provincial appraisal in Changsha in December 1987. A total of 37 experts and professors inside and outside the province, including the electric porcelain industry and building materials, participated in the appraisal meeting. Participants agreed that the technical indicators of the research results are in a leading position at home and abroad. The study improved the cement binder micro-knots by incorporating a certain kind of reactive micro-aggregate in the cement binder used in the electric porcelain cement.
