文章认为,要坚定资本主义必亡,社会主义必胜的信念,必须切实搞清楚社会主义发展的历史进程和究竟什么是社会主义初级阶段;切实搞清楚在不发达国家率先建立社会主义制度的必然性及重要作用和影响;切实搞清楚社会主义优越性的发展是由一个不完全到完全、不充分到充分、相对到绝对的历史渐进过程;切实搞清楚社会主义社会不是一成不变的社会,而是不断发展变化和改革的社会;切实搞清楚东欧巨变、苏联解体的直接原因和我们应当正确汲取的根本教训,进而看到社会主义发展的长期性、艰巨性和曲折性以及希望所在;切实搞清楚当代资本主义发展的历史进程,坚信社会制度本质,基本矛盾及必然灭亡的趋势没有根本改变;切实搞清楚社会主义代替资本主义是一个相当长的历史过程,坚定持久必胜的信念。
The article holds that to uphold the conviction that capitalism will surely win and socialism win the victory, we must conscientiously understand the historical process of socialist development and what is the initial stage of socialism.
