抗日战争是中国近现代历史上空前规模的全民族的反侵略战争,是100多年来中国人民奋起反抗外来侵略第一次取得完全胜利的民族解放战争。中国共产党是这场反侵略战争的中流砥柱,她的重要功绩之一就是在民族危亡的关键时刻,高举起抗日民族统一战线的伟大旗帜。这面旗帜激起了全中国亿万人民群众的抗日热情,团结了各种爱国政治力量齐心协力参加抗战,形成了前所未有的全民族抗战的局面。正如毛泽东所说,中国人民的大联合和中国抗日统一战线的完成,是战胜并消灭侵略者的主要条件。抗日战争的胜利,是中国人民团结奋斗的胜利,是我党抗日民族统一战线政策的胜利。
The War of Resistance Against Japan is a nationwide anti-aggression war of unprecedented scale in the modern history of China. It is the first national liberation war that the Chinese people won for the first time over 100 years to resist external aggression and achieve complete victory. The Chinese Communist Party is the mainstay of this war of aggression. One of her important achievements is to hold high the great banner of the anti-Japanese national united front at a critical juncture of national crisis. This banner aroused the anti-Japanese enthusiasm of the hundreds of millions of people in China and unite all kinds of patriotic political forces in concerted efforts to participate in the war of resistance against Japan and formed an all-ethnic war against Japan. As Mao Tse-tung said, the great alliance of the Chinese people and the completion of the Chinese anti-Japanese united front are the main conditions for defeating and eliminating the aggressors. The victory of the war of resistance against Japan is the victory of the Chinese people in unity and struggle and the victory of our party’s policy on the anti-Japanese national united front.
