Gravity platform is one of the types of ocean oil platforms in offshore engineering, and the study of its asseismic behavior is of important significance. This paper includes the following part: 1. Shanking table test on a model of an offshore gravity platform, which is 70 m in height and 75 m in base diameter (scale 1:50). 2. Development of a mathematical model and a computer program for the earthquake response analysis of gravity offshore platforms. 3. Using the computer program to analyse the earthquake response of a prototype gravity platform.
