First, the preface Titanium tetrachloride (TiCl_4) is widely used in the chemical industry, especially the TiCl_4 high temperature gas phase oxidation of titanium dioxide production has received great attention. The molecular structure and reaction ability of TiCl_4 reflect the complex characteristics of transition metal and play an important role in inorganic chemistry.
