“Tangula” in Tibetan means “the eagle can not fly mountains.” Here an average of more than 5000 meters above sea level, thin air, low pressure, oxygen content of only 47% of sea level, thousands of years deserted, is a veritable “life restricted area.” The Qinghai-Tibet Railway, which opened to traffic on July 1 this year, is passing through this no man’s land and reaches the highest point of the railway line at an altitude of 5,072 meters. In addition to the high altitude, the section from Anodang to Tanggula Mountain in Tibet is also one of the projects with the worst natural environment and the most difficult construction conditions. The construction process can be described as a “war without smoke.” There is a famous saying, “The war let a woman go away.” However, there are such groups of women who, instead of going away, have instead become an important force in their construction. Both as engineering technicians and medical workers, they used their own perseverance and wisdom to defeat the harsh natural environment in the plateau, overcame the pain of family separation and spilled their youth and passion on this snow-covered plateau, Played a song song of selfless dedication.
