Private life, to understand and reflect on the possibility of correcting discrimination against women in the process of changing their livelihoods and of the potential for empowerment of women. This study truly reflects the Latin American reality of contradiction, full of change and vitality. We try to deal with this reality in the same way. This study belongs to an international project under the UNESCO project on social transformation. Through this project, we hope to promote interdisciplinary research on changes in the urban environment and the social relations of men and women, emphasizing the empowerment experience of women in peripheral countries. In addition to our group, we also have research groups in Africa, Eastern Europe and Brazil throughout the research network.
