作物栽培学家、高梁专家、沈阳农学院教授徐天锡先生给我们留下了宝贵的遗产。他研究了高梁的高产理论和抗性生理;他主张采用中、早熟粮食作物品种晚播密植获得高额产量;他是在轮作中安排短期填闲绿肥作物和将垄上播种改为平地播种的倡导者。在作物栽培学方面,他认为作物生物学是它的基础,农艺师应具有广泛的理论知识和种植技能。徐天锡教授还发展了作物栽培制度理论。在建校三十周年之际,我们对这位才华出众的老师是十分怀念的。
Crop cultivator, sorghum expert, Shenyang Agricultural College Professor Xu Tianxi left us a valuable legacy. He studied sorghum’s high yield theory and resistant physiology; he advocated the use of late-sowing and planting of medium- and early-maturing grain crop varieties to obtain high yield; he arranged short-term green manure crop rotation and sowing on the ridge for sowing Advocates. In crop cultivation, he considered crop biology as its foundation, and agronomists should have extensive theoretical knowledge and planting skills. Professor Xu Tiansi also developed crop cultivation system theory. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of our founding, we cherishly miss this talented teacher.
