In recent years, historians have stepped out of the ivory tower and joined the construction of history textbooks in middle schools, which has become a striking highlight in the tide of curriculum reform. How historians construct textbooks, how to choose and present historical knowledge and how to write their own ideas are very interesting topics for middle school teachers and students. The journal consults with historians in various ways such as interviewing and discussion on these topics with the purpose of promoting the dialogue and exchange between teachers and students in the front line of secondary schools and historians, deepening the contents of textbooks and grasping the emphasis of textbooks , Creative use of teaching materials, but also hope that historians can use it to find textbooks in teaching more practical reflection basis. The activity planned by this magazine starts with the “history” of the textbook of people’s high school, edited by Mr. Zhu Hanguo (similar activities in other editions follow). We pay special tribute to the compilers of the People’s Version of the People’s Daily who are passionately interviewed and invited by the forum and thanked Mr. Chen Weiguo, a contributing researcher and top teacher who has worked hard in planning and organizing this event.
