Transcription factor T-complex protein 10-like gene (TCP10L) is a newly found transcriptional repressor in recent years, only expressed in primates. It interacts with apoptosis-associated protein kinases through leucine zippers. Since TCP10L is expressed only in human testis and liver, TCP10L is of great importance for the study of human testis and liver diseases.
