一中华人民共和国诞生以来,曾一再向世界各国宣告,愿意根据平等、互利、互相尊重领土主权的原则,和任何国家建立和发展外交和商务的关系。我国的这种旨在谋求世界和平和人类进步的外交政策在将近五年以来已获得了巨大和光辉的成就,其显明的标志之一便是已有代表十亿以上人口的二十五个国家先后承认了我国,和我国建立了或正在建立外交关系,并有二十多个国家和我国发生了贸易的关系。这个事实的意义是非常重大的。它说明了新中国的存在 Since the birth of the People’s Republic of China, China has repeatedly proclaimed to all countries in the world that it is willing to establish and develop diplomatic and commercial relations with any country based on the principles of equality, mutual benefit and mutual respect for territorial sovereignty.
