阿拉伯现代旅美文学的领军作家哈利勒·纪伯伦的代表作《先知》自20世纪30年代被著名作家冰心译介到中国后,在20世纪70年代的台湾又引发了新一轮的译介热潮,林锡嘉就是在一个奇妙偶然的机会与《先知》相遇并因此与纪伯伦作品结缘的一位诗人。在他所译介的纪伯伦作品中,《流浪者》是一部与众不同的译著。本文主要围绕林锡嘉对《流浪者》的译介,尤其是对译文后所附“欣赏的话”之分析,进一步揭示漂泊情结乃是他与纪伯伦相识的契机,是偶然中的必然。
Since the famous prophet “The Prophet” by the leading writer of modern American and American literature, Khalil Gibran, was translated to China by the famous writer Bing Xin in the 1930s, a new round of translation and introduction was launched in Taiwan in the 1970s , Lin Sijia was a poet in a wonderful chance encounter with the Prophet and thus associated with Gibran’s work. In his translation of Gibran’s work, “Wanderer” is a distinctive translation. This article focuses on the analysis of Lin Xi-jia’s translation of The Wanderer, especially the “Appreciation Words” attached to the translation, further revealing that the wandering complex is an opportunity he met with Gibran and is an accidental necessity.
