企业规模越来越庞大,而绝大多数公司仍沿用旧的组织架构,将领导工作放在金字塔顶端的少数人手中,这不但降低灵活度,也缺乏应变力。管理大师哈默尔(Gary Hamel)指出,若企业想建立真正能随机应变的组织,就得授权给各阶层成员,使公司内部形成一个领导联盟。他说,当前企业的复杂度已超出少数高阶团队的承载力。并且,在创意经济中,高管以外的成员已成为创造价值的主要力量,他们扮演的角色已不同以往。
As the size of the business grows larger and larger, most companies continue to use the old organizational structure to place leadership on the hands of the few at the top of the pyramid, which not only reduces flexibility and also lacks resilience. Gary Hamel, the management guru, points out that if companies want to create organizations that are truly adaptable, they have to be empowered to members of all strata to form a coalition of leaders within the company. He said the complexity of the current business has exceeded the carrying capacity of a few high-level teams. And, in a creative economy, members outside of top management have become major contributors to value creation and their role has changed from the past.
