去年以来,鱼台县委、县政府立足当地实际,把农业放在经济工作的首位,围绕建立社会主义市场经济体制,依靠现代科学技术发展高产优质高效农业和农村市场经济取得了显著成效。 1993年,鱼台县38.5万亩小麦平均单产371公斤,接近历史最高水平,11万亩大蒜总产13万吨,秋季生产战胜前期严重干旱、中期特大病虫害及8月份的洪涝灾害,22.5万亩水稻平均亩产600公斤,创历史最好水平。4万亩鱼塘、5万亩果园、6万亩瓜菜及20多万亩地膜覆盖和塑料大棚等保护地栽培,形成了三种三收、四作四收的立体种植新格局。
