1979年3月10日～12日在梅山铁矿召开了全国重点井下铁矿、掘进队竞赛评比会议。会上对1978年度竞赛情况进行了总结评比。邯邢矿山局符山铁矿被评为重点井下铁矿优胜单位,符山铁矿青年老虎队被评为井下掘进队优胜单位,武钢大冶铁矿尖林山掘进三队为直接工效第一名。1978年达到三级水平以上的队65个,其中五个队突破了人年直接工效1000米~3。有15个机台达到了国内先进水平。同时研究制订了新的竞赛办法,分两类三
