《3-6岁儿童学习与发展指南》中指出:“要充分尊重和保护幼儿的好奇心和学习兴趣,帮助幼儿逐步养成积极主动、认真专注、不怕困难、敢于探究和尝试、乐于想象和创造等良好学习品质。”兴趣是人对客观事物产生的一种积极的认知倾向。成功的教学所需要的不是强制,而是激发幼儿的学习兴趣。幼儿数学学习的兴趣源自于具体情境,幼儿的求知欲,只有在浓厚的兴趣、强烈的好奇心状态下才能产生,幼儿的差异和教学的开放,使课堂呈现出多变性和复杂性。教师应创设自由、宽松的环境氛围,创设问题情境,激发幼儿参与活动的兴趣,最后创设操作性情境,激发互动交流。因此,精心创设游戏教学情境是提高教学有效性的一项重要教学策略。
