在西藏普兰县石英片岩中,利用SHRIMP U-Pb法测年发现4.1Ga碎屑锆石,该年龄为目前中国最老单颗粒碎屑锆石年龄,>4.0Ga两测点仅为一颗锆石中测得,其Th/U值介于0.76~0.86之间,属岩浆锆石.24颗锆石的35个测点的年龄值可分为六个年龄段,认为研究区可能至少存在六期古岩浆活动.这一发现,为研究青藏高原的地质演化提供了重要的年龄数据.
