The economics of building construction are determined not only by the cost of one-time investment. The cost (including land acquisition, design and construction costs, etc.) is only a part of the economic benefits of building construction, in addition there are: 1. maintenance costs; 2. update renovation costs; 3. management fees; 4. energy consumption fees; 5. Convert the annual compensation interest. Figure 1 shows a comprehensive economic analysis of an office building in West Germany after 30 years of use. There are various taxes in the capitalist countries and interest rates are high, so the costs are higher except one-time investment, which is about 81% as shown in the figure. Obviously, if only the cost of construction is used to assess the economic benefits of housing, it is not comprehensive enough. Here are the different types of
