Grammar is sometimes defined as “the way words are put together to make correct sentences” (Ur,2004,P. 75). The aim of teaching grammar is to raise the rates of the correctness of language use and help the students transfer the isolated language points to apply language. In this essay,the author introduces two kinds of common methods in English grammar class. And there are some key principles in grammar teaching.
