九一八事变后,日本大肆拍摄美化侵华战争、丑化中国的影片,对中国发起了电影战。这对于左翼电影运动的发动,以及该运动前两波浪潮的抗日影像与此后国防电影的拍摄,均具有重要的激发意义。
After the Sept.18 Incident, Japan was wantonly filming and beautifying the war against China, vilifying its films in China and launching a film war on China. This is of great significance to the launching of the left-wing film movement, the anti-Japanese image of the two waves before the movement and the filming of the national defense film thereafter.
