经常一起谈论新乐队的朋友里,有祖咒和朱小龙,1999年我们说到了诱导社,2000年是昏热症,2001年是暗夜公爵,2002年——上海的Aitar、顶楼马戏团和Junkyard。我们像发现了摇钱树的唱片公司老板一样,急急忙忙地赞叹,到处打听他们的情况,恨不能马上修补了他们的缺陷,变一个超级乐队出来。这是多么令人激动的事情——面对那些只听过崔健、唐朝并且对中国摇滚乐现状失望的朋友,我从来都没有失去过信心。 准确地说2001年还有青岛的黄粱公主,他们自己做的小样专辑《神的戏剧》具备了野心、控制力和狂热的理性精神,我知道我会有机会去写他们。

To be exact, there was Princess Huang Liang of Qingdao in 2001. Their own demo album “The Drama of God” possessed ambition, control and fanatical spirit of rationality. I knew that I would have a chance to write about them.
