Chemokine is a small molecule protein superfamily with a molecular weight of 811 kD, and its receptor is Gi Go protein-coupled receptor. So far, 19 chemokines have been found. The relationship between chemokines and their receptors and GVHD is an emerging field of transplantation immunology. Chemokines are transiently expressed after solid organ transplantation. However, the relationship between CXCL8 (IL 8) and GVHD after bone marrow transplantation remains controversial. Chemokine and receptor expression and tissue-specificity of GVHD and the occurrence of chronic GVHD disease. CCL3 (MIP 1α) and its receptor CCR5 play an important role in autoantibody production in GVHD, tissue-specific recruitment and activation of receptor-specific CTL.
