素质教育就是要为学生今后步入社会、服务于社会打下坚实的基础,联合国教科文组织的《学会生存》一书中指出:“未来的文盲,不再是毫不识字的人,而是没有学会怎样学习的人。”教育家叶圣陶指出,教学的最高境界是学生自能读书,自能作文。这强调的是教师要教给学生学习的方法,强调培养学生自学能力。“自学研讨”就是遵循这一教学原则,鼓励学生自学,引导学生研讨,在获得知识的同时,总结学法,引导自学,培养发现问题、解决问题的能力。
