全苏管材料学研究所对连续均匀回转送进管坯的周期式冷轧管机进行了改进,从复杂的回转送进传动系统中,取消了间歇运动环节,从而使轧制速度提高,每一双行程中管坯送进量增加50~80%,提高了轧制效率。为了确定这种冷轧工艺的可行性,在全苏管材科学研究所试验厂和尼科波利南方钢管厂试轧了不同钢种的管材,进行了力能参数及传动参数的研究(表1)。
