迄今对第二语言教学的研究尚未能有效地吸收当代认知心理学的研究成果,儿童通过习得语言而融入目的语社团的轻松自然过程与大学生学习外语的艰难烦困却收效甚微的境遇对比鲜明,心理语言学研究领域中关于儿童母语习得的理论势必有助于对改进当今大学英语教学实践的探索。笔者综合几种颇具代表性的母语习得理论,认为大学英语教学应走向本真。
So far, the study of second language teaching has not been able to effectively absorb the research results of contemporary cognitive psychology. The easy natural process of children’s integration into the target language community through acquisition of language and the hardships and boredom of college students in learning foreign languages have had little effect. The contrast between the circumstances is obvious. The theory of the acquisition of children’s mother tongue in the field of psycholinguistics is bound to contribute to the exploration of improving college English teaching practice. The author combines several representative mother-tongue acquisition theories and believes that college English teaching should move toward the true.
