马紫笙(1884-1968),河北南宫市人。1917年北京大学中国文学系毕业,历任教师、国民革命军陆军第三师秘书、冀南区参议员、冀鲁豫军区政治部参议、河北省文化局局长、河北省扫盲委员会副主任、河北省文字改革委员会副主任,河北省政协第一、二、三届常委。解放初期,马紫笙在河北文化教育界很有名,他多年从事革命工作,不仅参加过抗日救亡运动,打入敌人内部做情报工作,而且担任过省文化局局长,文艺创作上也取得斐然成绩。北大毕业后先任教后从戎马紫笙自幼聪颖好学,村塾修业
