在无产阶级文化大革命的推动下,长庆油田三分部投产较早的李庄子油田经过五年多时间的开发,已采出10.6%的地质储量,目前开采速度仍达到2%以上,为本区低渗透油田的开发,提供了一定的经验。李庄子油田是一个北西——东南向短轴背斜构造,油层属侏罗系延安组,共有6个油层组24个油砂体,孔隙度16-19%,空气渗透率44-56毫达西,含油饱和度48-54%。
