Objective: To explore the role of blood stasis drug Dragon’s Blood in the repair of mouse tentacles epidermis. METHODS: Four-week-old male Kunming mice were treated with sterile epidermis to remove bilateral epiglottis epidermis, experimental control group, positive drug control group, and dragon blood spent internal or external use group. The rate of wound scarring was observed daily and the chi-square test was performed. After 1d, 3d, 5d, and 7d, materials were taken and observed by routine pathological sections. RESULTS: On the 2nd day after surgery, the difference in the crusting rate between the three groups was statistically significant (P=0.005), and the treatment group was the highest. From 1 to 3 days after operation, the inflammatory response was the main cause of the wounds in each group. The blood capillary permeability of the internal blood + external use group increased, the inflammatory cells bleed more, and fibroblasts proliferated in the dermis. At the 5th day after operation, the synthesis and secretion of fibroblasts and collagen fibers in the dermis were increased in all groups. The inflammatory cells in the internal or external use group of Dragon blood were disappeared, and more new capillaries were seen. At the 7th day after operation, the neonatal epidermal stratification was obvious in the internal or external use of Dragon’s blood. The arrangement of dermal fibroblasts and collagen fibers was regular. The epidermis was closely connected and the basement membrane was obvious. Conclusion: Dragon’s Blood can promote the early formation of blood stasis in the early stage of mouse beard-to-wound healing. It has obvious anti-inflammatory effect, promotes capillary proliferation, and promotes the proliferation of dermal and epidermal cells.
