1 Project Overview The Foshan Embankment is located on the left bank of the Dongping Waterway, a tributary of the lower reaches of the Beijiang River. The embankment is 40.92km long. It defended 84.3km2 of cultivated land in Foshan and Nanhai cities, 82,500people, a total industrial output value of 47.3billion yuan (1997 ), Guangdong Province is one of the five major embankment.
