白花树种子压榨后得到的毛油经加热、抽滤处理后得到粗制油,进一步脱胶、碱练、脱色和脱臭后得到精炼油。用粗制油和精炼油做大、小鼠急性经口毒性试验以及慢性毒性3项试验,包括Ames试验、小鼠骨髓细胞微核试验和小鼠精子畸形试验。小鼠急性毒理试验结果表明,白花树油脂精炼油比粗制油对应的小鼠LD50值有所提高,雌性小鼠从6.81 g/kg体重提高到17.10 g/kg体重(最高),雄性小鼠从7.94 g/kg提高到10.80 g/kg体重。比较而言,雌性小鼠LD50值提高幅度较大,说明雌性小鼠对白花树油脂的耐受性较雄性小鼠强。大鼠急性经口毒性试验结果表明,白花树油脂精炼前、后两者的LD50值差别不大,精炼前雌鼠和雄鼠均为20.00 g/kg体重,精炼后雌鼠和雄鼠均为17.10 g/kg体重,稍有下降,它们的LD50值都大于15.0 g/kg,达到理论无毒的标准。白花树油脂精炼前、后的Ames试验、小鼠骨髓细胞微核试验和小鼠精子畸形试验3项结果与阴性对照组差异很小,与阳性对照相比差异极显著,表明3项试验的毒性均为阴性。综上所述,白花树种子油可满足国家新资源食品安全评价的前期规程,具备开发成新资源食品的巨大潜力。
