在《河北日报》(2001.3.26)第12版“网络时代”专版上,有篇文章的题目赫然写着《清华IT专业炙手可热》。笔者认为:该题目的“炙手可热”一词使用不当。 “炙手可热”较早见于唐代大诗人杜甫的《丽人行》:“炙手可热势绝伦,慎莫近前丞相嗔。”绝伦:无与伦比;丞相:杨国忠。这两句诗意思是:杨国忠权贵气势无与伦比,非常大,小心不要接近丞相。(《学生古汉语词典》上海辞书出版社,1996年版,P821。) “炙手可热”释义:热得烫手。比喻权贵
In the “Hebei Daily” (2001.3.26) Twelfth Edition “Network Times ” special edition, there is an article entitled “Qinghua IT professional hot.” The author believes that the title of “hot” is not used properly. “Hot” earlier seen in the Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu’s “beauty line”: “hottest exuberant, cautious near the former prime minister 嗔.” Absolute: unparalleled; prime minister: Yang Guozhong.
