高职高专公共英语教学已经开展多年改革,但只是普通本科院校英语教学内容的简单版本,没有体现职业教育的特点。通过问卷调查发现,高职学生对专业英语的学习认识和需求都不尽相同,且差距较大。因此,改革要因专业因学生而定。从职业教育背景下的高职高职公共英语需求入手,探索高职高专学生对公共英语的学习需求也具有重要意义。
The reform of public English teaching in higher vocational colleges has been carried out for many years, but it is only a simple version of the English teaching content of ordinary colleges and universities. It does not reflect the characteristics of vocational education. Through the questionnaire survey, it is found that there is a wide range of difference between higher vocational students’ learning and understanding of professional English and their needs. Therefore, the reform should be professional because of students. It is also of great significance to start with the need of public English in higher vocational education under the background of vocational education and explore the demand of students in higher vocational colleges for the study of public English.
