在云南丽江永胜县六德乡的崇山峻岭中,绿荫丛林掩藏着万余座古墓,这就是神秘的他留人古墓群。墓群依山而建,鳞次栉比,布局严谨,错落有致。各个姓氏家族的冢区四界分明,绝不混杂,恢宏壮观,极其震撼。关于他留人的族源以及何时定居此地等等问题,学界目前尚有争议。然通过考察他留人现存的丧葬习俗,研究其中所蕴涵的民族心理与文化意义,抑或是我们了解他留人的又一条有效途径。
